This patient suffered from severe fluorosis which causes the teeth to stain in this brown pattern. While crowns would have completely covered the stains, by layering some fillings and removing a bit of the stained tooth, we got to a good result. While it is far from perfect, I think most people would agree that the smile looks much better now. The patient was happy with her smile.
